Grabbed a couple of hours late morning, consistent rises throughout and generated interest with the sixth pattern attempt. The population of fish in the Wye and Usk does seem very healthy at the moment which is encouraging

A strange day on the river, so cold in the afternoon rain you could see your breath, in July!Lots of Mayflies about and plenty of insect life meant fish rising fairly regularly.
The fishing slowed down considerably when the rain started but we managed a couple more fish whenever there was a break in the weather.
