Arrived late at about 6 pm. Attractive beat with some deepish pools, riffles, slower parts. Access well marked and good wading. Tried everything but no look. A nice place to be. Very hot bank holiday but most very shaded.

Beat:Arrow Titley
Fishing:Trout (River)

The river on this beat is in good order. Nothing rising so all four fish caught were taken on either a PTN or a hare's ear nymph suspended below a dry fly. The largest fish was 9 1/2" long. A number of other (probably larger) fish were hooked and lost, so the tally could have been greater had the angler been in better form.

Beautiful day to be on the river but not a lot of action to be had. There was a reasonable amount of insect life but not really any rising interest. Tried with some PT nymphs and March browns / grannums. One tug on a nymph but nothing landed! Lovely spot, will be back

enjoyed the day, but it was too bright and sunny. Wye is now running low, fished all day with dry flies. Although there were plenty flies, no sign of fishes. Being truly lucky to catch 1 decent grayling around 2 pounds

Bright sunshine and a good hatch of BWO all day, lots of action on dries and lots of missed splashy takes. Great fun and a lovely place to fish

No fish rising or seen - but I didn't fish very seriously as it was more of a picnic with the kids. Beautiful stretch with amazingly rich invertebrate life in the river, and dippers nesting nearby.
