First cast my first wye double!!!!! Then fished difficult in every swim despite pirming then and fishing in rotation.. i fished the fast water for a hour in the float to. I ended up losing a barbel and caught 3 chub and one perch on meat!!! A great day had it to myself. A special moment that double in the mist

2nd time we have fished this beat, however second time we have not caught much. Such a stunning location, just needs a some work doing to cut more swims, a lot of water unfishable

Fished the swims opposite the weir garden in the faster water towards the far bank. Usual meat and pellet hookbaits with groundbait and pellet feeders. Some swims are tackle hungry! The two others were dace caught trotting during the middle part of the day. There was a large pike in the last downstream weir garden swim which grabbed a decent chub on the way in. A good day for all 3 anglers

Bright and sunny day with the odd shower fished from 10-2 due to having to vacate accommodation very slow only 2 chub around 2-3lb fished several swims in rotation with multiple baits.
