Beautiful stretch of river but a difficult day. I have to say that safe access to the swims is virtually impossible so was very disappointed that a bit of roving to find the fish was not possible to do safely. Realistically 1 swim available, have to ask if this section should even be open during the late autumn and winter? Appreciated the picnic benches and the access to drive down to the river. Would return but in the summer months.

Beautiful day on the river. 6 barbel landed, biggest 9lb. All caught throughout the day. Same amount of chub caught. Feeder and Robin Red pellets did the trick. River was pretty clear and the sun was shining. Nice to meet Stefan the bailiff and his son on the beat
