Tough going. Managed two small WBT both on deeply fished red tag PTN. No rising fish evident in 6hr session. Cold wind but otherwise decent conditions. Pretty overgrown and limited access in places.

2 Trout

Water very skinny, clear and fast. Very few signs of life, no fish landed.

Two excellent fish to 2lb +

Dries and Nymphs fished NZ style.

1 Trout, 2 Grayling

Tried both dry and wet flies ...no takes and no fish to be seen....river seemed devoid of all life except we saw a kingfisher

Two trout caught in the faster water using nymphs. Great day on the river.

5 hours fishing, 4 fish 1 lost

Random feeding. Not holding station. Could of been chasing small caddis but they definitely took every upright. Weird. Lots of park users, and I mean lots.

Started below the footbridge, saw fast moving fish heading upstream.
3 rises all afternoon, fished a dry and nymph combo, had one rise to the dry but no takes.
River levels and water was good.
