Even harder today. Bright sun and high pressure hasn’t helped.
One highlight was a 21+ pike.

River very high and racing through so only the bottom end of the beat was fishable. Tried lots of different baits but it was a struggle due to the additional water overnight. Barbel was caught on a glugged boilie in the first peg by the gate.

Blanked, river still high but found some slacks where the fish would have been. Tried a few different baits but couldn't get them to feed. Nice stretch, easy to get to the bank, will definitely return.

.80 on the gauge. Very wet day. River clear but pushing through.
Access to the RH bank below the bridge is difficult due to a tangle of pig wire and branches by the bridge and yet more pig wire and a collapsed gate at the end of the non fishing field

Bloody good day. Fished the last downstream swim with the big slack. Caught steadily throughout the day. On both groundbait feeder with meat on the hook and maggot through a blocked feeder. Biggest Chub approx 4 1/2 lb, Barbel approx 6lb, trout and grayling 1lb ish .
Lovely well kept beat and beautifull scenery, what more could you want for £30 quid.

1 Trout, 1 Grayling, 1 Barbel, 15 Chub
