Late afternoon evening session arrived at 3-30 and fished until 8 hoping to pick up a barbel but unfortunately another chub fest at Holme lacy 17 chub between 3 and 4lb and one worth weighing at 5lb 9oz groundbait feeder with hemp and pellets and meat on the hook accounted for all fish.The path could still do with some maintenance brambles everywhere.

Some swims very slow but we found a couple of good ones. All fish caught on feeder and boilie Very mild, river low but slowly rising Conditions seemed ideal apart from a couple of lengthy showers.

4 trout - 1 on spinner, 3 on legered worm. Unfortunately all too small for the second time in a row. Only reasonable explanation is that they are stocking undersized fish, which is not on at all when you're paying to catch fish that can be taken. Won't be back this year.
