Lovely afternoon spent on my local water met the owners lovely couple no salmon seen , was more of a reky really having a look at the pools for when higher water arrives again . Lovely section of the river Wye very peaceful.

Gradual hatch in middle of the day of a couple of types of up wing flies and small sedges, and a couple of fish rose irregularly just out of reach. Spiders in the riffles produced no interest at all. Two fish caught on nymph under and indicator.

A very hard day on Craig Llyn fishing today but managed to get my first wild brown trout of the season on a dry during a nice hatch of olives.
