I caught all my fish on drys olive. Shaun mixed on drys and french leader good river level fish rising all through the beat many missed not many sedges comming off yet

Fish caught on mainly dries with 3 on mayfly nymph, fished Also under BWO size 16. All fish caught before 1300, after that no more interest. also lost 4 fish in morning on BWO . river clear water was quite cold. all Grayling apart from 1 small salmon parr.. 1 Salmon showed on bottom of beat.

First visit to Craig Llyn, and it won't be the last. Lovely stretch of varied water, but wading is difficult to say the least in some pools. A productive day with 5 trout to 1 1/2 lb and 4 grayling to 2 1/2. A few lost as ever, and a few other knocks. Great day in all, and will definitely be back.
