Two anglers caught Grayling and Brown trout on klink and dink. Most fish on the dink but a few on the klinkhammer with lots of splashy rises. Several of the grayling were in the 12 to 14 inch class and one of the trout was around 15 inches. Saw a kingfisher fly down the river. The river had a tinge of colour. The 2 others were minnows. All fish returned. A very enjoyable day.

Lugg was low and fished for few hours only as still warm. Saw 4 rises and caught three on klink - lost a larger fish in pool up from bridge. Beat bank was overgrown in parts and best waded.

Another top class day at Lyepole. After an overnight downpour, the river was slightly higher and some of the pools had begun to fill up. 10 Grayling to the net on various flies, Red Tag, PTN, Sedge. 3 Trout on similar. Amazing setting and a great days sport yet again.

Excellent day as ever at Lyepole. Fish were going for dries all day. Best of the bunch caught on the top part of the beat past the bridge in the deep pool, rising to a March Brown upright. Beautiful!
