Tough conditions after a heatwave and low water. Fished early morning for a couple of hours, caught 2 WBT and 2 OOS grayling, all nymphing. KM

River low and still not many fish showing. Good hatch of spinners and a good show of mayfly, so surprised more fish not showing. Saw 200+ fry in the shallows, which is a good sign. Changeable weather may of kept the fish from showing more.

Water level low and very clear. Made fishing a bit more difficult and only possibly in certain areas but still great day as usual.

River low, but in good condition. Cold wind kept fish down and not much fly life. Nice piece of river and will return when weather warms up. There was one or two mayfly about!

Dull overcast day. Cold water. Had all 3 fish from the pool just upstream of the bridge. A few flies hatching but nothing to bring the fish up. Spent the best part of an hour chasing 2 fish that kept making splashy rises at something but not my fly. They didn’t seem to give a monkeys I was there !!

River was Low. We only fished upstream of bridge and fished nymphs using mainly an indicator although also fished New Zealand style but all fish came to Nymphs and indicator.
