Fished from the lucky stones. River still low and bites not as fruitful now temperature dropping but even so were steady throughout the day. That said a PB barbel of 9lbs came early on followed by a 13lbs Pike towards end of the day on pellet!!

1 Barbel, 11 Chub, 1 Pike

Alittle more of a difficult day, today. Took time for the fish to switch on, but between us we manage a few.
SG had 2nice Barbel and SM had 1 nice Barbel and a load of chub.
Nice day, smelly dead Salmon on the edge giving off a horrendous stench.
Hinders pellet and Hinders Big Cheese doing the heavy lifting, along with groundbait.

3 Barbel, 12 Chub

One rod fished and it was a day of 2 halfs. A morning without even a notable bite to strike at at the lucky stones, very odd and can only put down to the drop in temperature overnight to 7 degrees.

Moved to the field and had a cracking afternoon chubfest. Temperature had risen to 20 degrees by then and they were climbing up the road.

4 Barbel, 6 Chub

River levels perfect with 0.55 on Mordiford gauge and a nice colour.
Lucky stone lived up to its name as usual with chub first cast on feeder pellet and corn. Fished from 9.30-1.30 with fish coming intermittently. Barbel between 4 and 7lb, chub to 4lb.
Enjoyable morning on a great stretch with usual range of wildlife to occupy the lull between bites.

3 Barbel, 4 Chub

Only 2 fished. Chub were prolific and more weed in this venue than we have noticed before.

2 Barbel, 15 Chub

4 fished. 4 Barbel from Lucky Stones and 2 from just inside the woods after the long walk, which is punchy but manageable.
Great looking stretch.
Mainly meat for bait.

6 Barbel, 9 Chub, 1 Other

8 Chub

Quite a tricky day at times, all the Barbel caught in the fast water in the lucky stone pool and a few chub taken at the tail end of the pool. Most fish taken on either trotted meat or small bits of meat on the feeder. Fish spread out between all 4 rods
