Other was a perch. Fished from 9am. First bite at 3pm.
Had 4 fish from 6pm to 7pm. All to luncheon meat or krill pellet. All safely returned. Pike was particularly impressive. Definitely double figures. Surprisingly took a krill pellet.

Quite a few chublets caught in the fast water at the top of the stretch on cubes of meat on the float and feeder. 1 Barbel and 3 chub from opposite the island in the lovely pool there, with 12 Chub and 2 barbel taken casting tight to far bank willows. Lovely stretch with some really nice water, we will definitely be back when there's some more colour in the water

River level wasn't too low and rose about 6 inches during the day, the fish fed in spells throughout the day, all fell to feeder fished pellets chub to 4.5lb and barbel to 6lb.

Very good fishing here as usual and with the river spot on we caught 8 Barbel and 18 Chub during the course of the day…Did not fish early or late so we’re very happy with our return and thank the Owner and the Wye and Usk for the continued access to this wonderful beat.
