Blanked, where there was enough water to fish your rig would be covered in silkweed within a minute. Not fishable at the moment

Hot day fished early and late .
Barbel on rolled meat and pellet PVA bag .
All fish caught in the faster water .
Hard to find at the moment as a quarter of the beat is impossible to fish due to the management of the bank on the stretch between Foy bridge and St Mary’s great shame there looks some great areas to explore.

Only fished from 10.30-15.00 due to other commitments. Hot and sunny, tried a few different swims and some interest when fishing to the snags on far bank but no fish in the net. Nice beat and will return for a proper session

Strange day on the beat, its usually more productive than this and although we saw lots of chub and the odd barbel in shallower water they weren't up for feeding. Barbel caught on the last cast, all fish to pellet feeder tactics. River had a strange brown tint to it.

2 anglers fished 7am to 1pm and came back 5pm to 8pm. We hooked 4 barbel and landed 2. Both around 5 to 6 pound and picked up a few chub through the day. Fished opposite the island where there was some faster water, Ross gauge around 35 to 40cm. 2 Barbel on luncheon meat and 2 on pellet.

River up a little with some colour, chub all caught on the float, first time on this beat, restricted swims available, most of the stretch with no access, expected more considering the cost.
