Cold and damp but a good hatch of olives 1300-1500. Only managed one a dry (jingler) and one on a tungsten orange tag, the rest came on spiders fished down and across the tail of pools, up to 2lb. Hard wading, slippy and uneven.

Great days fishing especially for early season. Plenty of action and quite a few fish lost most fish caught on nymphs throughout the morning up to midday. The hatch came on around noon and Fish started to rise caught a further 10 fish on a march brown pattern

A difficult day. Just a trickle hatch of LDO and only sporadic rises. Water still high and wading was difficult. Sadly, I lost a fish of around 18” and was broken by another. A very obliging 12”er saved the day late on.

Very sunny day, lots of hatching insects but nothing rising. Hooked into 6 trout using nymphs and streamers, landed only 3.

Bright day 13-14° very light wind. Great beat with plenty of character and variety. One very good condition WBT 14" and one 7" WBT to nymphs, both returned. Light hatch of March Brown but very few rising fish. Stayed at Wellington Hotel in middle of Brecon, highly recommend lamb and mint pasty from bakery next door. Lovely day, good to be on the river again, thank you WUF.

Very very low and water was super clear.
Saw lots of good sized trout and managed to get a couple deep in the heads of pools.

A lovely day on a lovely beat, fish showing on middle and upper beat, however no tight lines for today.
I enjoyed my day.
