One small trout on a small nymph. Got a big trout to take a small orange dry fly early on (0730) but it broke my line (1.5 pounds). Hooked another small trout on a nymph but lost it. Stopped at 11am. Great beat, wonderful scenery and wildlife.

2 WBT to the net, 10" and 12". Several misses / early releases. Targeted occasional risers. No success on deep nymphs or spiders. A couple of coloured salmon sighted in the deep pools.
