All fish caught on trotted meat, a good barbel lost at the net

surprising what came out as the river was low and clear. sun killed the day after 1pm 2 barbel 3chubb 1trout.

Very enjoyable day spent here nice and scenic, all 3 angler's caught fish. Barbel caught on pellets by both anglers, all 3 angler's caught chub biggest being 5lb smallest 2lb, one angler caught a brown trout on the drop by accident

Only fished for three or so hours from first light. Three fish to the same method as the previous day.

I fished from 6am until noon then again for a couple of hours in the evening. All fish were taken on single/ double pellet with a ground bait/pellet river feeder. River very low and clear as expected.

23 Chub

I started Fishing with a feeder and spam at the top end of the beat, casting a few feet past the middle. In two hours i caught 3 chub, and 6 perch with a shadteez from the middle. Later on at 08.40pm I moved to the second swim and caught another 3 chub with spam and finally a barbel at 09.15 on spam. Water levels are very low and temperature was 23 degrees. Enjoyed feeding some ducks during the wait.

Beautiful, quiet beat. Due to the warm sunny conditions I only fished the evening and had most success right at dusk with an 8lb barbel, and the biggest of the chub at 3.5lb, caught on ledgered pellets. Also had 2 nice perch on a tiny spinner.
