One Barbel, one good chub of about 4lb and lots of smaller chub and dace trotting corn, will defiantly go back when there is a bit more water in the river!

Brilliant day on the Wye 15 Chub on feeder tactics with a couple Dace as well. One lovely barbel to finish of the day ! Halibut pellets and meat did the trick

Nice quiet venue, fished 7am - 5pm. Feeder/halibut pellet. River a few feet deep out in flow with a little colour.

Lovely beat. Actually only 2 of us fished. Caught many chub, 5x 3lb plus, including 2x over 4.5lbs. No barbel this time unfortunately. Water fairly low, beautiful place to fish.

Entry gate brackets broken, so the grate fell & grazed leg. Arrived at the bank just after a shower of rain, & discovered that the banks down to the swims were slippery & very steep. Maybe some steps are needed for health & safety. River low & very clear.
