A really tough day with hot weather and the river was a little strange in colour, almost as if sediment had been disturbed - maybe a little algae.

Water high and coloured after torrential rain but fish were feeding when they could be located. All fish on pellet and feeder with most coming near the lugg. Lovely stretch of the Wye and Special mention to Glynn who was very helpful when we arrived and took time to show us the best spots to fish. Will definitely return when River is at normal level.

Although river level and conditions slightly improved from the previous day, finding feeding fish still proved difficult. Four chub to 3lbs 2ozs and a single barbel of 3lbs 11ozs which all fell to ledgering tactics.
