River in good condition, very clear even though it had rained the day before. Lovely 1/2lb male grayling seen rising and taken on a #18 parachute Adams.
Kept on the same fly and caught 2 wild brown trout, the first a very good fish well over a pound, the second 3/4lb both in good condition . Afternoon became slow although I missed two more splashy takes from grayling.
All fish returned.

Wet fly fishing. Cloudy with one shower but increasingly sunny as the day went on. River clear and in good condition. One grayling caught of about three quarters of a pound.

Wet fly fishing. Conditions overcast with some sunshine. River clear and I am told slightly fuller than recently. Fish rising but nothing caught by our two rods

River very low little evidence of fish.

Nice day on the river. Very hot with very few fish rising. WBT caught on a small white Klinkhammer. Grayling caught on a shrimp nymph in the fast water. Fishing disrupted by dog walkers, canoers and families swimming....to be expected on a sunny bank holiday I suppose.

Beautiful stretch of river and a thoroughly enjoyable day followed by a great dinner and pint at the Bell Inn. Very few fish in evidence and none rising. Tried Olives and multiple other small dry flies then a few nymphs. No joy with the fish, plenty of joy watching the kingfishers and generally soaking up the scenery. Very efficient online booking. Thanks

No hatch. No rise. Probably shouldn't have persisted in fishing dry. Still a lovely stretch of river on which to spend a summer afternoon.

Spent seven hours fishing and didn't see a single rise probably due to the weather which was wet and windy. River still clear and low.
