The river was very low, the water clear and 15C. No hatch of note. The fish were mostly in the fster streamy water. The sand matrtins are back and checking out their nest tunnels in the mud banks. There were goosanders, a dipper and a heron that shared the beat with me.

Very low water, below 0 on the Brecon gauge. Clumps of algae in the water and covering the stones of the riverbed. Bright sun all day. On/off hatches, and some one off risers. Five small trout on spiders and nymph, and one about 12” .

Tough conditions today with low water levels and warm and sunny. Plenty of hatching but little rising. Only had one take whilst nymphing.

Great day started on the nymphs got 7 in the first hour then got afew on the dries wind picked up so went back on the nymphs

bright day very few rises the odd upright.fish taken on bvery small olive on thetop. 1,5lbs.very beautifull day.

Great day, beautiful river and nature!
Only one big fish (lost during ferocious fight:-)
Windy afternoon.

A warm and bright day with a nagging upstream wind made fishing challenging. The morning saw the best of the hatches with Grannom in evidence.
Fish were looking up and rose repeatedly to my flys, however so difficult to connect, perhaps they were coming short due to tough conditions. Persevered and had 2 to grannom imitations, beautiful day but still tough.
