Cold and wet.

I caught 6 on the fly, diawl Bach.

Fished res yesterday (fri), weather nice and warm. Fished house side of res cast in at 8.10 first fish on bank at 8.15 thought good start to day had 2 more by 9 o clock then the eclipse started went very cold and for some reason fish stopped feeding until about 2 o clock. Caught 3 more by 4.30 decided to pack up all in all great day out spoke to Rangers, nice to see how pleasant they are they also do a good job of keeping this lovely res clean and & tidy hope luck stays next time I fish.

3 fish on fly, gold head bibio. Flat calm and sunny made fishing very hard in afternoon.

3 rainbows about 1 1/2lb caught spinning deep. Tried drowning worms, float and ledger most of the day to no avail.
Weather -2c, early in the day, mid day temp rose, glorious afternoon.

First time this season, good day out and great fishing. Had 3 on an orange spinner and 5 off bottom very little rising for surface food.

Grey overcast day with light breeze. Fishes NE shore a.m. and caught 3 rainbows approx. 2lb on viva and floating line. Fished SE shore p.m. with no further luck. A good first day out in new season.

4 stock trout in fine condition all caught on worm on warm sunny day on the Usk reservoir!

Cold and windy day, fished in the bay from 7-10am, one bite, no fish. Moved to the boat slipway but very cold and windy, no fish. By 11am I had had enough. Going to wait until it gets a bit warmer I think.
