Caught 8 between the two of us. All fish in good condition just over one pound in weight. All caught bait fishing on the bottom.

4 rainbow trout caught on worm.

Cold and foggy morning which improved by 2.00 p.m. No luck with fly rod and limited areas for casting on the west shore. Reverted to the spin rod which landed two 1.5lb rainbows late morning. A number of worm fishers were on the east shore. West shore could do with some work to improve casting areas.

4 rainbow trout approx 1 to 1.5 lbs in weight. All fish in good condition caught fishing on the bottom.

Overcast with a light breeze. Fished the west side in the morning. One rod caught a 12" brownie at the northen end, which was returned then a 1.5 lb rainbow - kept. 2nd rod a 2.5 lb rainbow in excellent condition - kept also lost two further rainbows. All caught on meps3 spinners. Continued fishing on the east bank with no further luck. Worrying to find that the toilet block provided at the car park was closed due to recent vandalism, which seems mindless in a quiet and relatively remote lcation.

Two rainbow trout, one and a half and two pounds, one taken.

2 rainbow trout soon after I started fishing one about 3lb and the other a bit smaller both on size 4 Mepps spinner then nothing for the rest of the day.

Nice place, lovely scenery. Lots of rain later on.

One rainbow taken @ 2 lbs on Invicta bumble. Hooked and lost 2 others in 8 hrs fishing. Wet and a cold breeze for August.

Caught the last of the catch limit by 6pm good day fishing.
