Lovely fishery and parking arrangements very smooth. I watched the video on access and details of the swims available but I would say it needs updating as several of the swims are now either overgrown or fallen trees are blocking. However there were enough available swims for the 4 rods here today and as usual it's a privilege to be able to fish here.

River rising quickly in the afternoon prompting the barbel to start feeding. All falling to meat and feeder tactics. A great day all round :)

A really nice day with sunshine and cloud. I didn't catch anything, although tried all of the wood swims. The river was very chocolate in colour and running through fairly fast, with a lot of debris and weed flowing through.

Had three nice chub from the lower end of the beat on luncheon meat. Be aware that the middle car park is out of use due to ongoing roadworks.

1st time on this stretch, fished a couple of swims in woods all day, quite a nice beat, could do with some more water on, silk weed was a big issue all day could only keep bait in water for about 10 mins before being covered in weed. will come back when levels are up a bit and and weed gone, other was an eel.

A little more water than over the Summer months, but still quite clear. More fishable swims than last year. Fished the top and middle sections with hair-rigged halibut pellets behind a feeder containing pellets and halibut ground bait. Bottom more snaggy than previously, with a considerable amount of filamentous weed. Landed 3 barbel (8lb, 7lb and 6lb) - two at the top and one in the middle sections.
