Booked on for a half day, accessible swims few and far between, if there's a way to access upstream of the waterworks it would be great if you put it in the booking info. I couldn't find it.

Had to wait for all the swimmers and paddlers to leave the island at the bottom of the beat before I could fish, all fish caught from the fast water after the island.

3 Barbel, 2 Chub

Cage feeder, 8mm halibut pellet. No luck at all

Nothing.

Hooked in to 1 barbel but it threw the hook , fished running cage feeder hemp + hali ground bait 10mm halibut pellet . Only had one other bite fished 5am - 10am.

River very low , fished from 18.30 - 22.00 used hair rigged
8 -10mm halibut pellet to 10lb fluorocarbon size 10 barbless running ground bait feeder using hali hemp ground bait . Had 2 fish 3.5lb chub and an eel to 1.5lb lots of bites from small fish which attacked the bait as soon as it went in .

Great spot, I took two novices to try to get them their first barbel and succeeded! I lost a good fish and the ones caught were lovely healthy fish around 2lb each. They were unhooked in the water before release as it was a hot day.

Beautiful stretch - fished a short evening session and had 3 barbel and missed a few bites too. Plenty to be had, lovely fishing and a peaceful evening!

All in the woods rolling meat most of the action early morning still bite’s in the day not as often but evening was very quiet only a couple of smaller chub
