A good day at How-Caple bright and sunny in the morning but clouded over with showers in the afternoon,the other angler that was booked on did not turn up so I had the best to myself which meant I could pre-bait 5swims and fish them in rotation.The river is still very low so I fished the swims at the downstream end in the nearside gulley which had the deeper and more oxygenated water,5 barbel ranging from 3lb up to 9lb and a 4lb chub groundbait and pellet feeder with meat on the hook caught all fish.
