Located in between Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth, the Courtfield Fishery is just under ¾ mile of left bank salmon and coarse fishing. The beat has benefited from access improvement works, opening up much more of the water and allowing salmon anglers to be able to cast from the croys in the middle section. It is a mixture of good fly and spinning water (Pool notes will be attached to your booking). First class coarse fishing is also on offer for all the usual Wye species. ALWAYS bring long handled landing nets and preferably bank spikes and ropes particularly when it is wet.
Combined with Wyebank, the beat next door, this is a superb location for larger parties to fish together, with excellent local facilities for good food, pubs and W.C's within walking distance. There are also several places to stay within the immediate environs of the fisheries.
Half price evening tickets can be purchased after 1pm on the day of fishing. Fishing is allowed from 5pm. (Coarse evening tickets are only available between 16th June and 30th September).
Please note that by booking this beat you agree to WUF passing your name and contact details to the fishery owner who may get in touch with updates on fishery/river conditions.
Although limited to 4 rods, the owner will permit larger parties if required.
