A few miles downstream of Lower Henllan the Lower Stanton beat is 1 mile of small river fishing for wild brown trout and occasional grayling. Midway along the beat, however, is a fish farm so anglers may find themselves sporadically connected to an escapee rainbow. Please be aware that the short stretch of water from the trout farm outlet upstream to the weir is not included in the beat.

Ideally fished with a 7-8ft, 2 to 4wt rod.
