All fish on trotted meat. Not sure if it's me I remember this beat as an easy walk over open banks. Not now. A narrow and somewhat overgrown path which seemed to finish two thirds down. Bottom section of the beat not really accessible other than wading with all your gear.
Still a lovely place and a cracking day's fishing

Fished a few hours in the afternoon free lining meat. Caught 3 chub best around 4lb.
Unfortunately left my Korum spoon landing net and drennan pole. Went back the day afterwards and it was gone. If you found these l will pay postage for return
