as usual the barbel were a bit scarce but the chub kept us busy. nothing on pellet feeder, so corn, maggots and other baits prevailed. still a good days fishing.

fished the swims abaove the car park, but tough going. only 3 barbel caught mostly on feeder with pellet bait.

a tough day, the barbel were far and few between abd the chub made the difference. nice fishery, but fishing tough. mostly pellet feeder.

pellet feeder worked well, a smattering of barbel (nothing great), and loads of chub to keep us busy.

Hard going, Started around mid day, river running a bit high and very coloured. Monsoon stopped play at 4.30 ish

Cold, a blustery wind kept fish down. Had to look for them. All caught on nymphs.
At 0.60m on the EA Ddol Farm gauge and 0.47m on the Elan, the river was high, but clean and fishable.

2 fish at Spreadeagle on Saturday - 9 lb Hen in the Grange and 90 cm Cock in Adams, both fresh-ish and on a Cascade Tube
