First time fishing here, such a wild remote place. Between showers fish were rising, all four taken off top on Bibio hopper. Tricky getting around in places, boggy disco grass but well worth it.

11 x trout 6-12 inches, dry sedge patterns and spiders. 1 x out of season grayling 14 inches.

Cool for time of year. Intermittent rising during afternoon but only in short bursts. Hoped for an improvement in the evening but not to be. Did manage 1 on a small olive and another on a ptn. Lost a couple also. Plenty of fish evident and lots of fry in the shallows.

Quiet through the day but nice rise during the last hour of daylight.

Unfortunately weather really took a turn for the worse and didn’t fish today ????

quiet today saw no fish rising. but did catch 1 rainbow trout on a lure

So no fishing today! ????
