Mainly small 1/4 to half lbs one 1lbs all caught on small copper nymphs one taken .

1 small trout caught on a spider. Route to bank very overgrown at the minute, would recommend parking on the other bank and walking to the beat with the recent rain much easier to access the river too.

Spinning - took thee Rainbows at one and a quarter pounds and one at one and three quarters. All caught on gold Mepps and gold Tobies

Great conditions and another early start with first a chub followed by 3 barbel and an eel. Canoes were a challenge as it was a BH and most very respectful

Barbel seem very localised in two swims. Great day, could have been even better but lost a good one at dusk. 8mm robin reds on straight lead. River was up slightly. Nice and sunny in the morning. Stormy in the afternoon.
