The Hindwell Brook is a wild trout stream that gently meanders in an easterly direction from its origins in the Radnor Forest to join the river Lugg just below Presteigne. Being spring fed, the river keeps a good flow throughout the summer months. The 2 mile + Knill Beat runs for the most part over a gravel riverbed, making for relatively easy wading and access.

Ideally fished with a 6½-7½ft, 2 to 4wt rod.
