1 x brown trout 11'',1 x brown trout 14''. Both taken on small yellow/ brown mayfly dries from the glide at the bottom of the beat. Had to leave at 8.15pm, as the action was really kicking off. A good little beat if you are happy wading out and fishing in the river.

Two trouts on klinkhamer, river getting low on summer levels , lovely stretch

River was rising slowly so felt confident. No weed or debris issue however the fishing was hard. Managed 3 chub from 9 different swims. Lovely stretch as always and well trimmed banks makes access easy.

Fished swims that have produced barbel in the past but they were not feeding. Lovely day all the same though.

4 fished, rived conditions perfect, probably should have had a few more, still a good first day on a great beat.

Lovely opening day on a slowly rising river. Lots of chub on the standard feeder rigs but the barbel were not interested.
