Slow days fishing. 3 chub and 1 eel caught. Weather was extremely wet. River was slightly up with a nice colour. Road exiting the fishery was extremely slippery with both vehicles having to be pushed up the hill upon exit.

Beautiful stretch, the top half has excellent access for the Wye, but the bottom half appears to have no swims cut out and only looks fishable at high water levels. The large weed beds I remember from my previous trip here a few years ago are unfortunately mostly gone.

Honestly lost count of the number of Chub and am pretty sure I caught at least one fish twice. Most were small, but a few were 3lb+. The Barbel was a mint condition long and lean fish of around 7 1/2lb. Everything caught on pellet feeder.

I appear to have lost a bank stick at some point while exploring and was unfortunately unable to find it.

1 Barbel, 19 Chub
