River looking good, surprising given the conditions that it was just the odd fish. Started in the church stream pool, moved up stream just the other side of the gate, lost a couple in the next peg up fishing the crease. Definitely worth moving around at the moment, trying the slacks etc

Beautiful scenery but tough fishing. Little action in the morning with one chub and small dace to show for our efforts in the Weir section. I inexplicably blanked by the well-stocked Boathouse whilst my fishing partner stumbled upon a handful of chub in the lower section and was very pleased with himself. Returned to the Weir at dusk where he lost a barbel at last knocking. An entertaining if slow day.

River conditions were a little cloudy but good, all caught on feeder and boilie in the meadows. Barbel 8lb 6oz. Chub 4lb and an eel of about 1.5 lb.
Could possibly do with a little strimming of the path between woods and meadow as the brambles were hard work with all the kit you take but did not detract from the day.
