I was fishing Tenkara-style, has anybody else fished this method on these small wild streams? It’s well worth it. Beautiful beat, wading easy but slippery. Saw a number of rises worked my way upriver and back down again to my car. Took a couple on a small Klink.

Went down for a couple of hours - 4pm to 6pm. Just fished part of the lower beat. A few larger olives hatching and used olive emerger . Rising fish in shallow water between runs stalked and caught - circa 14” WBT lovely and safely returned. Just got back to the car before a serious downpour.

Fished upper beat of the Cothi, river was running clear but a bit low. Intermittent showers, fished a duo set up of dry sedge and beaded pheasant tail nymph on barbless hooks. Caught one lovely wild brown approx 8 inches in length which took the nymph. safely returned.
