Beat:GPAIAC Builth Wells
Fishing:Winter Grayling
No. of Anglers:1
River very high at 2ft 6 inches on the Llanstephan gauge, so only possible to trot a few eddies from the bank with maggots under float. 6 x grayling 10-14 inches, mostly shots, 7 x out of season trout 7-14 inches. OOS trout kept muscling in, and salmon also showing interest, so had to move several times.

Beat:Holme Lacy 3 and Lechmere's Ley
Fishing:Coarse

River dropping but still very high, about 2metres. Only a couple of fishable pegs with one being very snaggy and losing gear. Moved DS to a nice slack next to the cut in channel and was rewarded with handful of chub, all between 4 and 5lb, on meat and boilies. Sadly no barbel.
Opposite bank looked pretty much unfishable today. Beautiful beat, would love to return in slightly better conditions.
Ghillie/ bailiff was very friendly
7 Chub
