Muggy and overcast with breeze picking up over course of the day. River really needs freshening up with some meaningful rainfall. Occasional olive hatching through the day but no interest from any fish. One small BT on PTN from the fast water at the top of the beat. Some fish moving from around 15:30. Had one lovely WBT of around 16” on a dry olive. Tiny rises can be deceptive!

Very few active fish but the water was crystal clear so maybe they saw me before I saw them. All fish came from the pool just below the bridge at Capel Bangor and all caught on a size 18 Griffiths gnat. Beautiful river.
