The water was crystal clear and saw lots of fish moving. A good challenge to get within range and had two to the net and lost a few more. Great fun catching all fish on caddisflies mainly in the hour before dark.

Overcast, little windy at times. Started near the crumbling stones and worked my way up the the river entrance and to other side... didn’t see any fish rising. Very muddy up the river entrance and shallow.
Unfortunately no fish or pulls . Tried naturals, nymphs, small black flies etc
