Overcast all day with drizzle in the evening. 3 anglers. Trotting bacon grill down the glide worked all day (2 barbel, 3 chub). Feeder with halibut pellet worked in the evening. Fishy spot.

Lovely beat. Good conditions but I really struggled. No real rise until later in the evening but the water was so clear that the fish were easily spooked. A blank unfortunately but some lovely relaxation.

Lovely day on the Wye again. My old fishing pal finally accompanied me for his first ever Wye experience. Very enjoyable and relaxed day. Low river but the chub still fed, found the barbel more elusive.
