Fished from 11ish to 3:30 in sunny weather with the river at a nice height and a little coloured. 5 trout to 12” 5 grayling similar size. All on weighted shrimp pattern nymphs. Nice to be back on the river.

i havent catch any fish last saturday 11/07/2020

fished from 8am - 2pm . the fish were in their feeding lanes till about 12pm the sun rose and the sport abruptly ceased. my catch return should of been well over twenty but for those pesky hook pulls. the first six hook ups all lost to them. cracking beat . size all between 9-13 inches . also three otters working the pools which was great to see but may have a negative affect on the fishery

Damsels diawls and ptn's all on floating lines. Had upteen missed takes 2, a good days fishing in lovely surroundings

7 BTW upto an impressive 13". Fished Klink & Dink. Most fish came to size 18 pheasant tail. Very enjoyable afternoon.

Bright, warm day with the reservoir very low. The concrete features at the top end were exposed. Had a great follow right up to my rod tip in the top end river mouth from a leviathan of a trout which in the end failed to commit but left an impressive wake!
Ended up with just the one of about 8" from the place where the stream comes in by the bridge pillars.
Lovely to be out in the wilds nonetheless. I still can't believe such a great fishery is only just over an hour from Bristol.
