As the water temperature reached 20 deg C by lunch time I so stopped fishing. Some rising fish seen under the alder in the shade.

Another lovrly session under the canopy ...Haven't fished Creggy for a few weeks tbh....
She's low and in need of a good flush through ...I temp dipped river with my thermometer, and she's at 16 degrees.... slowly creeping up, keep a watch on these temps folks !!!
Fished between 11 and 2:15 pm .... great dry fly sport in fairness , even in glides above the bridge, which is only a couple of feet, in places, tops !!! Lovely rising a fish on the dry there ... they go nuts in the shallow water !!!! 13 to the net, sizes between six and eleven inches.... all on thd dries ......
Mayfly on the go, throughout the beat, they're well and truly enjoying them, although I was happy fishing not to big a dry tbh ... Big bushy mohican mays just don't have the pinpoint accuracy I like !! And, there devils for spinning your line and leader ....
Did my good deed by releasing "Larry" the Lamb...Seriously caught up in stock fencing... You can definately see why they end up, nestled between the mashed potatoe and peas !!! Thick as mince ....lol !!!
A sublime session on an old favourite ....not easy at the moment, and in serious need of rain!!!
It'll be the River Elan and Afon Claerwen outflows for me if these temps creep up to 19 degrees on the wild streams, then of course, its a no go on the fishing side of things ....
Out with clients tommoz and Thurs on the rivers .... Hoping its a tad cooler ...... ppffftttttt !!!!
