No fish caught today. We used maggot feeders and ground bait feeders. River was fast and 3ozs feeders were washed downstream, unfortunately I didn’t have anything heavier so had to fish in the slack water close in.

River was tanking through and I was there for the Pike, trying back eddies and slacks but sadly it was to be though.

we fished from the lower end of the beat up through as the same as yesterday hard going the fish was not feeling all on the French leader,normally we have a load more fish of the beat stunning pools many thanks to Richard for letting us fish

Failed to catch today although river looked much better than yesterday. Tried a variety of Nymphs and various techniques,
felt I fished better than yesterday.

River pushing through still but slacks nice colour and with a lovely mild day no excuses to blank but a nice day all the same

we started the day cooking bacon sandwich in the hut we fished from the lower end of the beat and finished at penalow pool we caught most of the fish on the French leader difficult day the grayling didn't seem to be feeding as well as they should be still we all had fish great day thanks shaun

River slightly coloured, a little high and only made contact with one out of season brown trout. Lovely condition.

we started fishing around 10 after meeting at Greg's we fished the lower beat first the levels was up with a bit of colour in the water we all got in to fish straight away all our fish came from the lower end. we stopped at 1 for a coffee and had a warm in the hut. we did fish up to craiglyn falls where I had a grayling which gave me the run around in the pushing water, we called it a day at 3.30 as the rain started great day out thanks shaun

very cold -4 river looked in great condition but bites hard to come by,3 chub caught all big fish smallest 5.9lb largest 6.10lb all on cheese paste.
