6 fish caught on bottom using worm, 3 returned back safely as they were very very small

Warm dry afternoon with breeze, trout rising in and around Lili pads to various size flies. Only caught one on a size 12 Klinkhammer and missed a few others but no interest on anything else we tried. Some litter by the boathouse unfortunately.

Barbel and one chub caught on 14 mm pellet ledgered, 3 chub caught on double 8mm pellet ledgered. Going was slow - fished from about 7 am until 13:30 Weather hot. Had to have 5 attempts to ascend the hill of doom. It needs compacting , it’s too loose for anyone without 4 wheel drive.

Small black Klinkhammer with hares ear nymph suspended below… 50/50 catches on dry and nymph. Nice couple of hours fishing.

Small trout on wet flies all returned

Stream low but with good flow. Crystal clear. Overcast but warm, around 20 degrees. A lovely five hours. All fish very healthy. Missed a few too.
