A cloudy and mild day, plenty of hatches and fish rising. A gusty wind made casting tricky on the mid-section, but the woodland sections at either end of the beat offered more shelter and have a secluded feel to them. They take a bit of persistence to get to some parts, but it's well worth it for the scenery and tranquility.
Only one trout caught by this amateur fly fisher, but I reckon a more experienced caster could have caught a sack full. Had a fantastic time, and didn't see another soul all afternoon!

Excellent days fishing. The rainbows were in great condition and the reservoir was very scenic on the fly only part. Cats Whisker worked on this particular day.
