Ross Gauge at 1.10 and rose a bit more during the day. Water temp was slightly down which may explain the lack of joy with the barbel. The chub were feeding and came steadily until 2:45 when everything switched off. Tried a few different swims and methods and Stefan was very helpful but just couldn’t get the barbel going.

An 11lb salmon caught in the Kitty pool on a Willie Gun tube.
Total Nyth & Tyr Celyn salmon catches for 2024 were: April 1, May 2, June 2, July 2, August 2, September 5, October 3,
totalling 17. During the season 12 salmon were lost, either on the take or after a while.

No joy rising a fish with dries again today. Although it warmed up slightly after lunch wasn't aware of anything coming off. Afternoon fishing fancier & heavier nymphs (than previous day) on the point picked up nice grayling up to 12/13 ins from around & just downstream from the pool where the Clettwr joins the river in Erwood and missed/lost a good few more.
