Sadly a nil catch again. Hugh saw a fish, I saw nothing and was wishing for an inch or two more of water. No worries will be back, hopefully with some fish about.

A superb few hours, fishing from 11am until 3.45pm. Caught over 30 fish, with a mixture of trout, grayling and some parr. Most caught on a nymph, but for about 30 mins during a rise of LDO's caught some on an olive emerger pattern.
Largest fish was a very nice 20 inch trout, which fought like a tiger in the fast water.

Only a short session but caught 2 brown trout about 10", 2 chub about the same size, and a few small dace. Would benefit from a flush through (as would everywhere). Weather was warm and fly life was abundant, few fish were rising but tough not to spook them with the low flow. Fish were risen to the dry, but all were hooked on a black flashback. Lovely beat and looking forward to fishing it again.

Sadly, after 6 hours of fishing neither of us caught anything, despite seeing a few rises. We were forewarned that the water was low, but even so it was a pleasure to be on such a delightful stretch! We look forward to making use of the passport scheme.

Bright sunny day 17 degrees C. Brook looked in superb condition but very few fish evident perhaps because it was early and bright? Heavy midge hatches and intermittant sedges failed to bring anything to feed on the surface until after 3pm. Caught 3 small (1/4lb) brown trout on a green humpy, sizes 14, near the bottom of the beat.

Really good piece of river but water levels were very low in my opinion. As for the fishing really disappointing on the trout side, NO fish in sight, did not manage to see a single trout, no even small trout fleeing or fish moving, nothing ... it was surreal, we managed to see Graylings in some pools but absolutely ZERO trouts. We witnessed a big hatch of sedges but despite this we saw no trouts whatsoever - we came from the Irfon the previous day with same sort of levels but we saw and catch few trouts - it looked like the all population of trouts disappeared from this beat

Clear water, sunny day with a light breeze. Good hatch earlier in the day. 1 Trout and a couple of Grayling, all on the dryfly. A pleasant and challenging few hours.
