Fished after overnight rain so river was higher than expected and like turbid tea making wading and fishing very tricky. No luck despite trying a variety of methods across the beat - spiders, nymphs and klink/dink between us - we'll be back though as this beat has fished well for us previously with ample trout and grayling, some big...

heavy rain and a rising river....a couple of large pellet got the barbel interested, best 7lb 3...

Great day in the mountains, hike in worthwhile. The rain cleared and had some blue in the sky. Fished for about 6hrs, finally rewarded with a trout, caught on a wet diawl bach after trying numerous other patterns through the day.

Fished Pellet feeder and the float and caught Chub and Barbel on both. Meat was used on the float. Fished Top and bottom of the venue. 2 Anglers fished.

Having watched the video of this beat on your site, it suggests fishing the far end where the river flows into the reservoir, It would be helpful to anglers if instructions could be included as to how to access this part of the reservoir. My 10-year-old daughter and I walked through a very boggy, muddy, path through an overgrown forest trail to reach this area, not realising we could have walked the road route and easily crossed the river which would have taken half the time. Thanks

Water level low and slow. Located a swim that had a bit of flow probably about 4ft deep. Fished 2oz feeder with 2 off 8mm krill dumbells on hair size 10 hook. Muggy and overcast. Had 3 Barbel and 2 Chub.
