Arrived at 2 and fished until 5.30. Cloudy with a light breeze and about 13°C. A light hatch of small olives with regular splashy rises. First fish was foul hooked in the side to a sedge artificial, successfully realised ( hopefully). All other fish fell to a parachute greenwells. Probably rose twice as many fish as I caught, all fish in the 6 to 8 inch range apart from one 10 inch brown trout.

Lovely spot, although quite overgrown and could have done with a shorter rod (than 7 ft) to avoid trees and bushes. Some fish rising and where I could reach they were interested in the small grey wolf, others caught on nymph under a dry fly. Great way to spend a couple of hours after work. Thanks W&U

This is probably the best wild stream I've bean ever. Plenty of fish, most of them cought with pheasant nymph, 2x dry fly.
Easy access to the river, wading is easy as well. Hope will get a chance to go again soon.

First time I fished on Cammarch. The river is live, plenty of nymphs under the stones and flies, and it was easy to raise fish on a dry fly, which is impressive. There is only one thing I was disappointed about, the river was blocked from wire fence, I was unable to access the river from the Trout Inn, started down the stream where after a few meters I was blocked from another wire fence and unable to continue. Should have a better access in main opinion, It is not easy at all to walk through the stretch.

Morning and mid-afternoon going mainly at fish rising to hatches of smallish light coloured mayflies which ignored my nymphs and drys but eventually only seemed interested in a CDC emerger pattern if I managed to present competently. Sublime late afternoon and evening rise on the river, the beat was a hive of activity with midges, small sedges, little mayflies and olives coming off - great fun (despite the older/wiser brownies not putting in much of an appearance at/after dusk) and one of those memorable days
