Cold, very sunny day river up a little. Hard day on the Lugg, I guess the high pressure put the graying off. Nice to get out on the bank though.

Very quiet day missed 2 presumed grayling on pink lure

Tough day!

No fish at all today. No bites either. Don't know why. River level good, water temperature fine. Temperature on the rise too.
Pellet, luncheon meat and sweetcorn tried with feeder just off the main current to no avail. Same result in slacker spots. also
Oh well

River still coloured and flowing fast in partial flood. One nice Grayling to the net, about 1/2-3/4lb, so a nice fish.

River was flowing but definitely not as fast as I was expecting after all the storms pre Christmas. Ended up fishing at the wrong pools for Grayling all day but only realised after bumping into a local as I was packing up for the day, but will be back to try again for sure!

Frustrating day, could not buy a bite! Tried 3 swims, different baits / margins / methods. That’s fishing!

Another day with possible blank written on it,river low clear and cold cloudless blue skies all day lovely day to be sat in the countryside just not very good catching conditions! Absolutely nothing all day then saved a blank at the death all fish coming on consecutive casts to feeder fished “bits”.

Bright conditions. One bite one fish. Bomb with groundbait and banded elispe pellet on the hook.

Only small fish evident today. Nymphs/grubs and one surprise taker to a dry klink on the dropper.
